Here is the latest user data from the usability test. I created it as a .pdf
http://libweb.williams.edu/committees/web/usability/user_paths.pdf
I've documented all of the paths travelled by users, the total time to completion, the goal of each task, etc... Take a look when you have a chance and let me know what you think. We can begin discussing here and bring the high points to the next meeting.

Last week, I got an email from Dave asking me to look into bringing the physical comment box onto the web site. Here is my first attempt - http://www.williams.edu/library/forms/suggest.html.
It is sparse, but it works and Dave has agreed to have the form pushed to his email. It's pushing to my email right now. Feel free to submit some feedback via the form and look for any problems. Let me know if you have any comments.

I made some changes to the ILL matrix based on our brief conversation at the last meeting.
The table is now divided into two tables - books and articles/other formats. I also inverted the dark purple and tan colors. I think it makes for a more readable table.

What do you all think?
Try to use the comments on the blog. Click on "comments" at the end of this post and you should be able to post your thoughts in the window that pops up. Here's the url - http://wclwebteam.blogspot.com/. I will also let Alison know about these changes.

Hi, Team,
I have decided on our summer projects.
1. Redesign Indexes and Databases with php and mySQL.
2. Redesign Index page without changing major categories of site(Time permitting)
I have also rescheduled our meetings for every two weeks during the summer. Don't worry about attendance. The team will work with whomever is on hand.
And I have some good news about the blog. (No, it's not going away...) Blogger has changed their software to allow for instant comments on posts. This means we can have threaded discussions through the blog. For example, at the end of this post there should be a "comment" or "reply" link. If you click on the link, a new window should appear with a post editor. Fill in the form in the window and we can start talking via posts to the blog. We can demo in our next meeting if need be.

Hi, Team,
Here's the agenda for tomorrow. I anticipate talking mostly about preliminary findings of the usability test. We'll be out a little early to attend the administrative staff forum. See you tomorrow,
